ATCO Community Symposiums:
ATCO Gas and ATCO Electric have a long history of supporting rural
Alberta and the people who live and work there. With many of our employees
and customers living in rural communities across Alberta, ATCO plays an
important part in sustainability of these communities.
Since 2000 ATCO has partnered with a number of communities to offer the
Symposiums to help not-for-profit organizations and those in the volunteer
sector stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in their
industry. Comments and feedback from hundreds of speakers and participants
has been overwhelmingly positive demonstrating the program's success in
advancing the knowledge and capacity of people working to improve the
quality of life in rural Alberta.
